Shortly after my arrival in Bra, myself and some friends organized our first event. We called ourselves the “Pocapaglia Racing Team,” since we quickly became infamous for riding the bike everywhere (in Italy, this is a foolproof way to be known all over town very quickly)

For the event, we fire roasted potatoes. Guests brought a plethora of toppings to share. Ragù alla Bolognese, Tahini sauce, homemade Lebanese fried lentils, Indian curry, and much more.
